Licence & training

How much does a Class B licence cost?
In Munich usually €2,800–4,000, depending on the number of driving lessons. You'll get a transparent, personal estimate from us.
How long does it take to get the licence?
On average 3–5 months. With intensive and holiday courses it's considerably faster.
What's the difference between B and B197?
With B197 you learn on automatic but may still drive manuals afterwards – without a separate proof.
Do you offer lessons in English?
Yes, theory and practice are available in German and English, and the theory exam can be taken in English.

Education voucher & funding

Who can get an education voucher?
Usually people receiving benefits under SGB II/III – job-seekers, unemployed people, those reorienting, returners to work, refugees with a work permit. The Employment Agency decides.
How much does funded training cost me?
With an approved education voucher, up to 100% – ideally nothing.
What are the requirements for the funded truck licence?
Usually minimum age 21, a held Class B licence, medical fitness, no relevant register entries and generally German at level B1.

Career & further training

How long does the accelerated basic qualification take?
140 hours, completed with an IHK exam.
How often do I need Module 95?
35 hours of continued training every 5 years.
