B96: a one-day course (theory, driving, manoeuvring) – ending with a certificate of attendance, entered in the vehicle register.

BE: a few driving lessons as needed plus a practical exam. We provide the towing vehicle & trailer.

Do I need B96 or BE?

It depends on weight: up to a 4,250 kg combination, B96 is enough (no exam). For trailers up to 3,500 kg gross mass you need BE (with a practical exam).

Do I have to take a theory exam?

No – with a held Class B, no new theory exam is required for B96 or BE.

How long does B96 take?

Usually one day (7 hours of training), without an exam.
